I would want them to take photos at the ceremony, as well as the reception (if we have one) and just get a cd so I can decide what we want to do with the pictures. Just wondering if anyone knows if that's possible?
Hi there- and welcome to the thread! I just got the 2009 rates from Yudelka and to play your own music with their equipment costs $220 for 2 hours and $385 for 4 hours. If she sends me more info that can answer any more of your questions, then I'll post it- I just sent her an e-mail with a million questions, so hopefully that will be soon!

I thought that would be great, except people may not get to see you that well coming in on the horse carriage, but the chapel looks really pretty. If anyone has an photos or comments, that would be great, before I lock everything in. I am also wondering if everyone does a reception after? The reason I ask is because we are trying to not spend much money, but I want everything to be nice, but if we are going to have to pay a bunch, we could just stay here and do it and be able to have everyone at the ceremony. With a destination wedding, our friends with new babies, won't be able to make it. We just figured dw is best for us since we don't have large families, my parents are not paying for a wedding, we love to travel and this way we can keep it smaller (50 people?) and not spend $20k - $100k!!! We have a ton of weddings and bachelorette/bachelor parties this year, so that's already costing us a fortune and I recently went back to school to finish my Masters.

Sorry so long, thank you for your help!!

Happy Holidays everyone!
I've only been back for a few days so I haven't even had a chance to post my review... But I know how much it sucks to have to wait for an answer on something like this. We were originally planning on having a beach wedding but found out a week before we left that my WC had confirmed the chapel as a back up and it was the best thing that could've happened! After I saw the chapel I was sold! I loved the fact that there was glass all around, not to mention how beautiful it is. Don't worry about it blocking anything...all of my guests saw us in the carriage perfectly! The best part of it all was the glass itself! It was a bit windy that day so it was perfect. The glass blocked the wind and still allowed us to see the beach right behind us. I have a ton of pics... If you would like to see some of them send me an email address and I would be more than happy to forward them to you =) I hope this helps and good luck with all of your planning. No mattter what you chose, it will be perfect!

Hi girls...we're back =)

I'm going to keep this short and simple.

We had a very small group attending our wedding which was nice and personal. My MOH and I had our hair and makeup done starting at 930 the morning of. We were both done around 12:30 and the wedding was scheduled for 2. By the time we were both dressed and ready to go it was 1:30ish... Nancy, my WC, was supposed to arrive at my room around 1:45. Around 1:35 the room phone rang and it was Viridiana, from the Weddings office. She called to let me know that the flowers were en-route when the flower boy got a flat tire on his car. Long story short, I was told they would be there around 10 minutes late. About 20 minutes later, Viridiana arrived at my door and we were ready to get on the carriage.

The carriage driver took us for a small ride to the front of the Nizuc lobby where Nancy met us with our flowers. (Nancy had to pick them up herself due to the flat tire) We then were back on our way. Once we arrived at the gazebo, the driver stopped us just around a building while the resort staff finished placing the flowers in the vases and on my fiance and the BM. Once that was done...we were on our way.

It was a bit windy that day but beautiful overall. The carriage took us around the back of the gazebo and I was absolutely thrilled to see my soon to be husband! Our guests were all seated and smiling as we rode up.

Walking down the aisle was nerve wrecking, but once it was over, it was also perfect!

The ceremony process flowed so well... I know I read about people saying that they knew their music was playing in the background but didn't hear anything...well I know exactly what they meant. I heard the first few words of our first song and then I had tunnel vision for the rest of the ceremony. The resort staff walked us through the entire process and let us know when we needed to do what. It couldn't have been more taken care of for me...especially since there isn't a dress rehersal of anything. You'll have the chance to sit down with your WC to go over the process but that's it. So I have to admit I was a bit nervous about not knowing how things were going to go but don't worry, it all works out wonderfully!

Other than the flowers not being there on time, the only other boo boo was the cake server set. Apparently one of the staff members sent my server set to the restaurant where we were having our reception dinner. So we did not have our own server set available at the gazebo for pictures but it turned out fine after all because they did not show up in any of the pictures.

To wrap it all up, the day turned out perfect! We took a ton of pictures and the photographer did an amazing job. The pictures I'm posting are only a fraction of what was taken. We spent at least an hour after the ceremony on the beach with the photographer and videographer. They were also great. I was pleased with the entire package! It was like a fairytale wedding!!

Your pictures and review are wonderful. Who took your pictures?

A question for anyone who might know...I have the earliest wedding time, 11 am. I am trying to find out what time the salon opens so I'm not rushing to get ready after my hair is done. Anyone know the time? Or if they work early just for this reason?
