So I'm making bookmarks with english to spanish phrases for my oot bags and i got the translation from google translator, but could someone who actually speaks spanish please double check for me that the translation is correct. I'd hate to have my guests try and use the phrases and have them end up saying "my monkey eats cheese" or something ridiculous like that.

TIA

What time is it?

Cuál es el tiempo?

Where is the bathroom?

Donde está el cuarto de baño?

Can I order food?

¿Puedo pedir el alimento?

May I see a menu?

Puedo ver un menú

When does the bar open?

¿cuándo la barra se abre?

May I have a margarita?

Puedo tener un margarita?

Two more tequilas please

Dos más tequilas por favor

I am a native Spanish speaker, I would not quite say it like that:

What time is it?

¿Qué hora es?

Where is the bathroom?

¿Dónde está el baño?

May I order food?

¿Puedo ordenar comida ?

May I see a menu?

¿Me permite un menu?

When does the bar open?

¿ A qué hora abre el bar?

One margarita please?

Una margarita por favor

Two more tequilas please

Dos tequilas más por favor

I fully agree with Paula V. I am also a Spanish speaker and the google translation is a little literal. Your guests would definately get by with it but it may be slightly awkward. GO with Paula V's suggestions they are correct.

That's a cute idea!

i 100% agree with all the corrections paula gave you.

also, FYI to people, NEVER use the online translators expecting them to give you correct results. they translate based on a word-for-word algorithm, so they are almost never gramatically correct because the word order in spanish is not the same in english.
