Thanks Jules! I know it really did feel great. I grabbed a size (waist inch size not traditional dress sizing...) smaller than the last time i was at that store and when I came out I realized they were still to obig and I needed to drop one more size! It felt great! I mean how often does jean shopping feel goodhuh.gifhuh.gif

Anyway this week I lost 0.5 (even after the Superbowl Party fiasco!). That was good but not the big news... Today I went jean shopping and bought jeans in smaller sizes!!!! Yippppeeeeee!

How awesome is that!? Great job, Kash!! That's the true sign of success too - not as much what the scale says, but more how the cloths fit! Congratulations!

WOO HOO Kash - that's great news!

I must admit after just starting WW on Saturday (yesterday) I forgot how much I adore sauces and cheese! I think I try to put cheese on everything and sometimes i just snack on cheese alone. A bad 'no no' I am having trouble with. And tonite I am craving spaghetti so I bought some whole wheat noodles and saved up enough points from the day I can have it.

I forgot how hard this is. I love food sad.gif

I think the first week is the hardest, that is when you just have to cut things out. After that, you figure out how to add them in again and work out for extra points, etc. It will get easier.

You can still have those things just go to the grocery store and find some lighter options! Here are some ideas:

Chavrie Basil & herb goat cheese - 2 Tbsp = 1 point!

1 Tbsp. light cream cheese = 1 point... add it to pasta sauce right at the end to make it a delicious cream sauce!

reduced fat string cheese - I can't remember what brand but there's is one brand that 1 piece = 1 point...

Use the Dreamfield's pastas - they taste like regular pasta but since they are high fiber they are half the points.

You can do it!

I'm sure there's other great ideas people can give you!

The first week is always the hardest, but I'm sure you're doing great! Kash had some great tips for you. I think eating a lot of low point items really helps because you feel like you get to eat a lot!

Last night we decided to make bbq ribs & we had cole slaw, potato salad, you know all things that are really bad. And I was starving to top it off, so I had this huge plate of food and I started eating and I ate about half of everything and I started to feel full so I stopped. I pretty much thought I blew the diet for the day, but I decided to look and see how many points I ate and while it was a lot of points, I hadn't eaten much else all day, so I ended up being about 7 points over for the day, which was a lot better than I thought! So the moral of the story, don't be afraid to count your points even on bad days, sometimes I have a habit of just not counting if its a bad day.
