Wedding Website ?

How many months in advance of your wedding did you guys put up a website?

I did my wedding website about a year before the wedding. Once we got engaged, I set it up and put info about where we were going and what to expect. Then whenever people would have questions, I would answer them, but I would also direct them to the website.

i put mine up right away, We got engaged at the end of Oct so i made it in Nov. but i just started giving the address out now. The reason why i didn't put it on my STDs was because we changed locations and i hadn't updated the website. i didn't want people to be confused. but i think you can give it out as far in advance as you want.

I did mine a year before - I put in the STDs that we sent out in January for our November wedding!

we did ours about 6 months before the wedding. the one we did was for a year, and i wanted to be able to update it with pics after the wedding, etc.

i am also getting married in April of 2009 and i sent out my STDs in the beginning of March I think and the address to the wedding website was in them.

I did mine about 10 months before the wedding so it was doen for our STD which we sent out 9 months before the wedding.

I did mine about a month ago, so that's 13 months before my wedding.

I started it right away- about a year before the wedding. I gradually added information as it developed.
