fireworks

okay, crazy idea, but if the budget permits, we're considering doing a short (2-4 minute) fireworks show. When I received info from one of the three 5* hotels, one of them quoted this, but I don't know how accurate their pricing was.

 

Has anyone else looked into this?

i had a "free" fireworks show for my welcome dinner...the resort next door had one and all our guests thought i planned it i should post pics...it was amazing.

 

Jennetta actually had a grat ida...she thought it would be great to split the cost with someone who was getting married at the same time...

I am paying $2000 for a 2 minute show. Maye said that they can go as short as 30 seconds. I think (but I can't find documentation in my old emails) that when I was talking about 1 minute it was $1,000.

Did she happen to mention how many fireworks go off in one minute vesus two?

No, although that would be helpful. I have seen a few pictures and the fireworks are nice - they're medium size (not like a big fair, but big enough to look impressive).

FYI - I found an email that said that you can get 30 seconds of fireworks for $500.

My coordinator quoted me $900 an hour and I think we are actually going to just do 1 minute. I really wanted to do the fireworks and we are WAY over our budget - She knows I really wanted them and she said 1 minute will be fine. I think this is something else they are flexible with because she initially quoted me higher on the fireworks and has come down to $900 without much negotiation on my part.
