We're taking her home today!! Now we just need to find a way to get all of our crap home with us, and ship my frozen breastmilk to MN - that's harder than one would think, apparently!

So we'll have a couple nights at the hotel, a couple on the train, a couple in Chicago, and then we'll be home!

YAY! Congratulations! Breastmilk can insulate itself if you pack it right. Just make sure there is no extra space. Put those ice blue packs or crumbled newspaper on top. I would overnight it and have it delivered to a friend or family and have them keep it in their freezer till you get home. If you pack it in a cooler an it's already frozen it should stay frozen. It's all the fat in it that helps keep it frozen longer. Just FedEx it at the latest possible time in the afternoon, and have it delivered at the earliest possible delivery the next morning.

This link has suggestions how to ship it if you scroll down a little.

Breast Milk Donation

My sister also donated breastmilk and the organization didn't use dry ice either. You can use dry ice its just a little more expensive! Hope that helps. YAY! You get to go home!

Just a quick note to let you all know SHE'S "HOME!!!" Well, she's at the hotel with us. We're officially 24/7 parents! YIKES!

Now, off to eat the pizza we just got delivered, and to stare at our baby girl as she snoozes in her little travel bed on the hotel couch. What a jet setter!
