Well, poo ... she didn't pass her carseat test afterall. When I got in this morning, they said that the respitory therapist had reviewed the results and saw something she didn't like. I don't think it was anything major, but she has to do the test again. Hopefully she will pass today.

 

So there's that, and then she needs to maintain her temps better, she often runs on the cold side even with multiple blankets.

 

So hopefully she does well there, and we can still go home soon. ARGH - so close!

So here's my question... is she not supposed to be in a car seat for over an hour? I've never heard of this carseat test and i'm a little confused by it.

Well that stinks! Maybe she is so smart she is able to regulate her body temp and prefers to run cold.

I absolutely adore that picture of the three of you. I know you said you don't like it, but it's really a good one. I brought some tears to my eyes. She is just so adorable.

 

I got my fingers crossed for little Gwen. I hope she can pass the car seat after all and let you guys go home and celebrate with the rest of your family. Happy Father's Day Paul!

Aww Ann, you're so close!! I'm crossing my fingers for you. Gwen is a little trooper though, that's pretty clear - but it seems she's also a bit of a diva and she'll decide when you leave CA!
