Congratulations and welcome to the forum! I am still in the process of trying to decide on a resort, and its not easy.... I am also considering the royal playa del carmen!! I hope we can share information!

Oh wow, I just noticed you are from Montreal!! I went to McGill!

 

Aside from that.. I contacted the resort about three times now.. even tried calling two days ago, and spoke to Paty. She told me to write an e-mail to her with a description of what I am looking for, but I got an e-mail notification letter saying that the delivery will be delayed!!! I tried calling the hotel today, but their phone system is not working.. This is making me a bit nervous, since I am planning to get married in coming December!!!

That's awesome!! I live on St. Laurent and Duluth, not far from McGill at all. I am completely in love with this city. We basically jumped ship from Alberta nearly two years ago, solely based on a 10 day trip to Montreal 2 years before that! We're so happy here...and now...we're getting married!

Yes, I still have yet to hear word from the resort (the Royal PDC), but I'm hoping with some of the wonderful contacts I have made on the forum thus far, that communication with a coordinator isn't too far off. Good luck to you and I'd love to be updated on how things work out for you. I'm sure it will all work out...it sounds like RPDC has become quite the wedding destination, so they are probably just swamped...not sure if that is good or bad, but I guess we'll find out!
