Hello everyone!

 

I am new here, and am SO glad to have found you!

 

My name is Shannon and my fiance Ken, proposed to me March 20, 2008 after nearly 6 years together. smile159.gif

 

We plan on getting married May 2009 in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico. The resort we are trying to confirm is the Royal Playa del Carmen, and we will be travelling with about 17 of our closest friends and family!

 

I've been lurking around the site for about a week, and have read a lot of information about the Royal and all the tips and tricks Royal brides have offered, but am going to need even more help starting me off! I have emailed, who I believe to be the wedding coordinator at the resort twice (one month ago and two weeks ago), and have yet to receive a response...so...we'll see I suppose.

 

Anyways, just wanted to make my newbie appearance, and look forward to talking with you about our big day(s)!!!

Welcome to the forum! I'm getting married at the Royal in just over two weeks! The communication definitely has been slow, but the resort looks beautiful and all the brides I've talked to who have married there have been thrilled. I'll be sure to answer any of your questions when I get back, and to post a review. Congratulations!
