Are you wearing a Garter

I figure since I may not wear a veil, I wanted to keep some of the traditional wedding stuff. So I am going to definitely try and get one :)

I bought a garter for my 'something blue' but I want to keep it!

Was thinking if I should buy two then? but the more I think about it, I only have 2 single friends going (both girls) so I will have fiance take it off (will be funny to watch/be apart of) but I will not toss it.

Is that lame?

Is it terrible that I have no desire to do this? I actually had no desire to do any of the traditional stuff but it looks like I will end up having to do most of it anyway just to break up the reception time. I think this one I will skip though. Let's see....so far I have ended up agreeing to do MANY things I originally said I didn't care to.

I find I decided to do a lot of things I originally said I wouldn't.... like splurge on all the extras, but the more I thought about it the more I was like 'this is only one day and what's $200 at the end of it' LOL  or maybe that's because fiance kept saying that to me when I was being a cheap skate! lol!

I am most definitely wearing it as it's my something blue, but after that who knows! I want to keep it though so it ain't being tossed.

Not to offend anyone, as this is simply my opinion, but I think the whole garter thing is so tacky, not to mention mortifying. And it definitely can't be comfortable, right? But as I keep saying... the best part of a destination wedding is that you can do whatever you want!
