Speaking of venting... I sent Claudia an email last night w/ my wedding date in the subject line so that she'd know who I was. I was so excited that she responded today answering all my questions until I saw that in the subject line she'd added an "isn't it June 12?" I changed my date months ago and she'd okayed it; all my last emails have my new date in the subject line, she'd even forwarded me an email she sent to her co workers with my new date; my entire family has booked already-- and now she wants to scare me! I'm like binge eating until she responds again.

Yikes! I wouldn't stress just yet, she might just have you confused with someone else. Just like my contract says "Amanda" when I told her it's Andrea...hopefully we'll get that one figured out before my wedding otherwise my FI will be marrying Amanda...whoever she is...

I think she just has a lot on her plate but let us know how it turns out! My wedding is the 9th so we will be there around the same time!

Hey Ladies I am new to this forum. I just reserved my wedding date. It's a while from today May 2011 actually. I am waiting for the WC to send me the proposal. She said she reserved the date for me after i filled out the question sheet she sent me. That was 3 days ago. Can anyone tell me how long does it usually take to get responses from the WC? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

Welcome! It seems like we all have wondered about that very thing at some point. The communication...can be slow. However everyone has reassured me that once the wedding gets closer communication gets better and once you get there they are organized and ready to go.

I'm working with Cecilia and lately she will respond within a day or two but sometimes longer. If you are getting nervous or needing answers you can call down there. That's what I did in order to get my date reserved and ever since she's been good about e-mailing me back.

OMG... I would worry too.. But I agree if you have emails stating your date, you should not worry... I hope she responds to you quick, or try giving her call...

Hey guys, just wanted to say everything is okay THANK GOD! Lol Claudia was looking at the old contract, but said that everything is okay & the new revised contract had our new date. I wish she would've checked before giving my mother and I panic attacks lol

Girls, I have a q. I know this might be somewhere on the thread, but where have you all either taken or will book your honeymoons? We want to stay in Mexico but take a cab to Riviera Maya or Playa Carmen to an adults-only honeymoonish hotel. I've booked Dreams for a week so far but we haven't booked our honeymoon yet. Any ideas?

I'm so glad you asked this because we are trying to figure out the same thing. We want to leave dreams the night of the wedding but we don't know where we are going..then we are going to try to fly somewhere else the next day. Again...not sure where...

We are staying at the Excellence Playa Mujeres for our honeymoon. We are leaving the day after the wedding and will spend the next 5 days at this "adults only" resort. We have stayed here before, and if you want R & R it is AMAZING! However, if you want more of a party atmosphere, this might not be your place, it is pretty laid back.
