I had a list of extras the resort sent me and they have the Mariachi Trio for $560/set (45 min) and they also list "marichi band" - it deosn't say how many poeple are in it- but i assume it's more than three (if you wanted the larger group). that's $1100/ per 45 minute set.

I read a couple of reveiws here that said they were a "must"!

I am wondering if anyone has the "dreams activities" document... the schedule of daily resort events? I thought it would be nice to put that in the welcome packet -or is that something that is given to you at check-in?

 

for those already married, was there any on-site dreams activity/event/show worth organizing for the group to take part in?

I'm not sure I know you get the trio in the ultimate package anyway. Will that not do for them that way its saving you mega $$

i just emailed the resort itself (not the WCs) to request a schedule of both their daily activities and nightly entertainment. i really want to know which night is "caribbean night" on the beach, and i've heard they do a "casino night" as well (a casino is the ONE thing the resort doesn't have, so *of course* that's the one thing my family keeps asking for!). i'd like to know when those special events are so that we can possibly plan the rehearsal and excursions around the things that i don't want anyone to miss, ya know?

edit: oh damn, i forgot to ask about the movies on the beach ... are they in english with spanish subtitles, or vice versa? LOL

A trio is like wearing a suit without a shirt to us Mexicans. lol -- ugh My parents want a Mariachi with 10 men and its super expensive... whatever, the parents are driving me nuts also.

My entire wedding is over at 9pm. Has anyone gotten an exception to keep it going till 10-11pm? Its on the beach
