Dreams Cancun - Questions for those married here!

Thanks for all of the pics! We now have about 100 guests joining us, and I'm starting to worry about where we are going to hold the reception. You had yours on the Terrace, right? That's what we were originally planning on, but now it seems we won't fit. Do you think it's too windy to be on the beach? Both the DJ and photographer (Claudia), thought the beach location was great...but I'm still worried about the elements.

Yes, we had ours in the terrace. The beach area is lovely, but extremely breezy. We could barely hear the ceremony in the gazebo. We had to watch it on the camcorder later to actually hear what the minister was saying. Again the beach is beautiful, but you may want to consider your guests and the sand. If you choose the garden area, it still is very breezy, but you don't have to deal with the sand. The air is not cold, but a warm breeze.

Look in the lower left of the forum and it shows the points you can earn for certain things. The more you post, the more you earn.
I will donate some points to you so you may open her attachments.
If it is a link, it doesn't use points.

Hmmm...what's a girl to do? I guess I'll just have to hold off and see what our final guest count is. RSVPs are due back by Sept. 1. That still give us a month to figure things out. Thanks for you input!!

Ladies, ideas for rehearsal dinner?

 

Are you having dinner at one of the restaurants in Dreams or going outside of Dreams to do something else?

 

I think there's a $10 pp fee to reserve for a private section in one of the restaurants.

First, congrats on your Jr. Member status
Second, I think we are going to skip out on a rehersal dinner and just have everyone meet up with the all of our guesst after the rehersal at the Lobby bar, for a meet-and-greet/welcome celebration!
