no it's called the "rendezvous" bar, and it's in the main building (the one thru which you enter the resort). there is no "lobby" or bar in the pyramid building, just an open atrium with lots of plants (and birds!).

It is the first bar you see when you walk through the doors so it will be easy for your guests to find

About the rendezvous bar and meet & greets, the staff doesn't care if we tell everyone to meet there right? I also want to tell people beforehand but I don't want any staff giving us problems or saying there's too many of us (even though I have no idea how many people will be there.)

just popping my head in here to say how awesome dreams cancun is! i shot a wedding there in may and loved it. you will all be happy you chose it.

That review is terrible! I actually already signed a contract with them and put a deposit down. I have contacted people who have used him in the past and they all gave me rave reviews. My wedding is in 4 months, so I may have to stick it out with them. The people I have spoken with at his office have been wonderful (maybe he got some new staff) and I also told them that I did not feel comfortable paying them in full before the wedding day. If he pulls that diva attitude with me, he can leave without the rest of the money. I guess at this point, I'll just have to hope for the best.
