I can't believe I missed this post. I need to set the record straight...Even though I'm searching for Yankees tickets, I hate the Yanks! I'm a total Mets fan. My dad grew up in New England, so our house was very anti-Yankees. Unfortunately FI is a die-hard Yankees fan. I guess we all have our faults.

 

By the way, is anyone else dong the stadium tour? FI and I have set a goal to get to every major league ballpark. So far we've been to:

 

*The Trop (Tampa Bay Devil Rays)

*PNC (Pittsburgh Pirates)

*The Jake-I know it's not called that now (Cleveland Indians)

*Yankees Stadium (New York Yankess)

*Shea Stadium (New York Mets)

*US Cellular (Chicago White Sox) but that game was rained out so we have to go back. (So sad that we have to go back to Chicago...I LOVE that city)

*Wrigley Field (Chicago Cubs)

*Tomorrow...Nationals Park (Washington Nationals)

 

It's great to see how different each stadium is. Plus we will visit places that we probably would never have thought to go to, like Minneapolis and Kansas City. And yes, we're aware that it's weird we went to games in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio before hitting up the New York stadiums.

I am sad that I have missed this post as well! I love baseball! FI and I are huge fans. Since it is summer, that is all we watch in the evenings!

 

I am a big Red Sox fan, although I have never been to Fenway! I was going to go this summer, but that was before we got engaged and started planning a wedding. So that may not happen. FI is a big Cincinnati Reds fan. The day before I graduate from college, June 13, we are going to Great American Ball Park in Cinci to Reds/ Red Sox match up. We just bought our tickets and I am so excited! Normally I have to travel up to Cleveland to catch a Red Sox game. It will be a great graduation gift if the Sox sweep the Reds!

 

Froggie, make sure you and your FI add Great American in Cinci to your lists of stadiums to visit. It is a great place to see a ball game! There really is not a bad seat!

Oh don't worry, we'll be hitting all of them! My brother is moving to Columbus this weekend, so Cinci is definitely towards the top of the list.

This just reminded me of the last Mets game I went to (which was the second home game of the season). Phillies apparel was being tossed from the upper deck. There was a lot of actively going on up there. I'm sure some Phillies fan left the stadium naked.

OHHHHHH! Danielle you are not the only Danielle who is a Phillies Phan!

 

Let me just say.... I was recently at a Phillies vs Mets game at Citizen Bank Park and you Mets fans are asses..... huge asses! I watched some drunk Mets fans (3 of them) beat the piss out of a Phillies fan in front of his wife and kids and the fight actually spilled onto the field and stopped the game and one of your douche bag fans punch TWO Philadelphia Police Officers..... OK DUMB ASS!!! Real smart!

 

Needless to say.... I never cared about other teams and hating them (well other than The Cowboys!!!! LOL!) but I must say that, that day I learned to really despise Mets fans! And they say that Philly has BAD fans! Trust that wasn't only nasty thing I saw that day.... and I've been to many games... but this was my first Mets game....
