I picked a TOTALLY different bouquet and it was no extra charge and exactly what I wanted. So don't worry too much about it. Just bring along pictures of exactly what you want and I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised!

Haven't posted for a little while as school and work has gotten a bit hectic lately! But I've finally booked my photographer, the church and confirmed the date with Paloma. I also got my first e-mail from Jazmin without even contacting her yet! Things seem to be going a lot better now. I'm just trying to decide on what sort of reception to hold - La Tortuga or Tequila - any recommendations? It feels so far away and I constantly alternate between feeling on the ball and feeling totally behind. I'm so glad I've got my mom helping me... and this forum of course!!

Here is another review I found on Trip Advisor for the Tulum couples:

after having our wedding at the GBP Tulum and having a fantastic experience, I thought i would share some info on this great resort

first off, it is far away from the airoprt, but the wait to get there is well worth it :) I will try to make this short:

fi you can, stay in the diamond club section, it gives you complete access to everything including a private pool, bar, and buffet

as far as the food goes, much better than average, and with 3 reservations, 6 buffets, many bars, a disco and a total of i think 10 restaraunts, you can eat just about every meal at a different place, all of which are full of variety and the food is well prepared and presented.

the rooms are nice and comfortable, however in august, with about 99% humidity, the rooms smell slightly "tropical", however with good A/C it's hardly noticeable. the maids kept the bar stocked, towel animals, and artistic hanging of the patio drapes

daily (we tipped a buck in the fridge and a buck on the bed each day)

the beach is huge (as is the rest of the resort). there are some rocky areas but the resort prides itself on keeping everything as close to natural as possible, including a marine preserve on the property and a turtle sanctuary where if you're lucky, you may see some turtles laying eggs or the lil fellas making the mad dash to the water!! muchos wildlife to be found here!! there are areas that are very private as well as those where you can be surrounded by other travellers.

many pool areas and pool bars to choose from with great service as well as where you can pour your own slushie drinks to your liking. there aer many activities to choose from at the

pool including areobics, water polo, ping pong and beach volleyball.

we had our wedding there (just a religious ceremony to bypass the blood tests and Mexican legal stuff). the coordinator took about 20mins of our time to ask us some questions and her staff took care of the rest. they did a wonderful job (with beautiful flowers and found us an amazing pastor). there are a number of areas that you can hold a ceremony; we chose a nice little gazebo overlooking the ocean. we were also given private transportation for our party from the gazebo to the steakhouse where we had our dinner (the food here was really good and i'm an alberta boy who is a true beef aficionado)

with a large group of people including families with small children and some "hard to please" types, everyone left very satisfied and pleased with our selection of resorts. I think you will be pleased too.

on a side note, we took what has to be the best excursion any of us had ever been on through a company called AllTourNative Adventures. for about $100 a person you get to tour the ruins of Coba by bicycle, Hike through the jungle (we saw tarantulas!!), kayak (through alligator infested waters!!), go repelling, swim in an underground cenote, ride a zip line, and eat an authenticall prepared mayan dinner in a small village. each tour group has a maximum of 8 people (well, however many fit in the van) and is more personal than the big bus tours, and was unforgetatble.

we would return in a heartbeat!!

cheers

For anyone who is going to choose the beach site for their ceremony, just want to let you know you have more options then what Jazmin initially provides. We are getting married on the beach and the pics she sent were pretty simple with just a table. I asked about arches or something else other then the table and she sent me tons of pics that are beautiful. Just an FYI...

Hi! Does anyone have photos or links to photos of bouquet options? I've done a couple of searches on this thread, but can't seem to find anything... Or if you know the page on this thread can you please direct me to it (its a little too long now to go through every page!!)?
