How much does the resort charge for outside vendors such as the trio? Do we pay that or is it part of the styling trio pricing?

I know day passes per person is $90USD, and Trio will generally have someone for hair and someone for make-up, so assuming you have to pay... then it will $180USD which is not included in the prices from Trio. However, many brides on BDW have mentioned that the resort will allow you not pay the day passes if the make-up/hair stylist do not leave the room to use any of the services (ie. food and bar).

Good to know! Have you read anything on here about the stylists at the actual resort spa? Wondering if they would be any good? I was planning to have a trial done here and then take a picture down with me, but I wanted to have my extensions put in, so I def need a stylist who has experience with that?

One more question (more to come I'm sure!): do we meet with jazmin before the wedding to choose flowers for our bridal party, mothers, etc? And do they take care of centrepieces or do they ask us for our input? We booked a destination bc I didn't want to have to worry about doing that stuff on my own, so hopefully she will take care of it all?

If you don't want to worry about it, you don't have to.  You'll have a meeting with Jazmin about two or three days before your wedding where you'll be able to go through the book of flowers and pick everything out. 

 

Centerpieces aren't included.  You'll get one (the decoration from the ceremony), but that's it.  The tables are beautiful as is though, so I wouldn't stress too much about it if you're going for a care free experience.

Hi Jazmin emailed me the brochure of flowers and I have made my selection - with slight tweak. Have also chosen wedding cake style, chosen our restaurant & menu. The flowers on the table at the Gazebo (our wedding location) will get taken to the restaurant for table centre piece. We have an appt arranged with Jazmin 2 days after we arrive then we will go and get our bloods taken. She has advised that at this appt all details will be confirmed and if necessary changes (slight) can be made. Hope this assists x

You should check the testimonials from some of the past brides on the below thread. Go to the Spa posts, and you'll find them there. There's actually a lot of other useful info on that thread as well to help with other aspects of your wedding. Check it out!

It's good to take a look thru the flowers catelogue from the WC before arriving at the resort. That way, you have an idea of what they actually offer, and if the flowers you want are not in the catelogue, you can do the research and arrangements with outside vendors. However, seeing that you mentioned wanting a stress free wedding, I'm sure you can find something in the catelogue and make it work to avoid the hassle of finding an outside vendor.
