Have any of you had issues getting a hold of the WC lately or is it just me? I have been trying to get a hold of Paloma for over a month now to confirm a date, she finally responded last week (giving me different date options) after I sent a not so pleasant email but we're back to playing the waiting game again. As of this morning I have called the resort 11 times trying to get a hold of someone and nothing. You'd think if you're bringing 50 people to the resort, there would be some sort of urgency in answering questions but it appears that we have to chase them and beg them to give the resort our money. Sorry, just had to vent lol

we've had the same problem! trying to get a hold of Paloma for almost 2mths to set a date. finally got a hold of her by phone last week. she told us that she hasnt booked any 2014 dates yet because she doesn't have the 2014 packages from corporate yet. she said she will have them in February and be replying to our emails then. its so hard waiting!

I have never eaten inside of the Mediterraneo.  You can see on my photo tour (HERE) that they have white linens and the same tables as all the other restaurants.  So I would assume you could do long tables of 10-12 by pushing the tables together.

lgerry - you actually got to talk to her?? I'm jealous haha!! Hopefully they can confirm your date soon - I think it's time I start looking at other resorts

Our TA was trying to get a hold of her for a week with no luck, so she gave us her number to try too. We waited and called around dinner time (i think it was around 6:30ish) and we lucked out!

YAY! I just received an email from my WC (Maria) confirming the dinner time (6pm) and my request for a pool side reception (8 @ the Arrecife Jacuzzi bar).   I responded back asap of a list of random questions!

I guess its true...they pretty much ignore you until your wedding is 3-4 months away.  I had emailed her probably over a month ago to confirm these details. YAY!

I still have not had any contact with the WC at the resort. My TA has been the one contacting Paloma, but it seems like there is still no response. I've been trying to confirm at least my ceremony location and whether or not I can have the poolside reception since I had already booked the DJ. No luck. It's been 2 months now since the first time I requested the TA to contact them. Oh wells, I guess we'll have to wait some more.

I totally understand your frustration.  I sure they will email you back soon (ish).  Like ( I think) you told me, I am sure the poolside reception will be available to book.  It is making the resort more money. The WCs probably think that a Nov wedding is soooo far away, but to the bride it is not!!! I hope you get a response soon!

Well, I've already made the deposit for the DJ already, so I guess it really doesn't make a big difference when I find out. As long as it's 90days before the wedding because that's when I can still get my deposit back from DJ Bob. I guess it's just nice to know, but I won't die not knowing. You must be getting excited.. it's getting closer and closer to your date! Can't wait to hear your review and see your pictures!
