I am so sorry that you are feeling so stressed out and feeling like you are getting walked all over...Like everyone says on here...It always works out  I am sure your wedding will be beautiful.    Does the DJ not provide the speakers?  Or are the speakers and microphone for something else?

Yes the dj supplys the speakers and mic, but if you opt out of the DJ you have to pay for them on thier own, so for two hours it would be $180 vs the $420 for the Dj for 2 hours

I had thought it was $70 per hour for the speaker rental but Jazmin keeps telling me its $180 per hour!!!!! So for two hours I would be looking at $360 for the speaker rentals and $420 for a DJ....... Anyone else get quoted this? I had thought she had made a mistake and confirmed these prices :(

Hi other principe brides... I realize I am getting married in a year but I can't get these people to answer me at all. Did they make you wit too three months befor the wedding befor they started the planning? I feel like there are 8 milliion things to do that I can't make happen until I know what we are doing for reception and flowers and ceremony place etc. Has anyone else been dealing with this and can someone please tell me what the time lines were like?

So do you have any idea where your reception or ceremony or anything is?

I think the ceremony location is based on which part of the resort you're staying in. If you're Akumal, then it's 1 or 2 specific locations you can choose from. Check out this thread here. Trisha has photo tours of the resorts and some of the wedding ceremony locations.

She also has a lot of other information on there, that might help. I'm staying at the Tulum so I believe my wedding ceremony will be held at the gazebo. I could be wrong, but I'm just going to wait for now, and plan my other things for now. Since I don't know the number of guests attending, I'm just brainstorming ideas for OOT bags, my ceremony programs and scripts, and deciding on the centerpieces for the reception (since I will most likely choose one of the restaurants at the resort).

I sqaured away my ceremony site and my reception site and then didn't hear anything for months.  But I needed an outdoor private reception and I know that they only allow one per resort a night (and up to three weddings per day) so I didn't want someone else to get it.

Try the emails in the link futuremrswarner provided, and if those don't work... call.

Oh, and I didn't book those two things, my travel agent did.  Travel agents are like gold.
