I am so happy this worked out for you, nothing worst than having that vision of what your pictures should look like and then be given that huge disappointing news that someone else with a different style is your only option. I have not book a photographer yet so i am sure that I will have the site approved vendor, Oh well sucks when your lazy and don't move on details. Good Luck girl....

I was so excited last night! I got the same email from Claudia and am also waiting to hear back from this one. I have sent the email off to both Jazmin and Paloma...here's hoping!

Okay...thanks for this and here is hoping I do this right! As for the price list...won't give me one. Sent another email talking about the $540 cost of the photos and then afterwards they would put this wonderful package together and give us options to choose from what we want and then would give us a package price. Personally it sounds a lot like a way to play loosey goosey with the prices.

The other two were the same from the initial email that was attached a couple of pages ago by another bride. I don't know if these are real wedding photos, maybe some of them, but they are not for me personally. Not when compared to Claudia's work.

Hi ladies...so a year of planning and over 100 emails back and forth to Yuritzia, the coordinator at Akumal, and she is doing a special deal with the judge so we can get married on the 3rd instead of the 4th business day (our photographer and videographer are booked and leaving for another wedding on the 4th business day)..she tells me she is leaving BHP for personal reasons and there will be someone else named Eugenia who will be looking after my wedding. OMG! I can't take anymore of these changes!!! She left me no contact information for this new person and how can I be sure that any of our requests that have been documented are going to be passed along to the new person? I feel like I'm going to pass out! Our coordinator back home also quit.

Oh no Wendy!!! I'm so sorry that this is all happening so close to your date. That really stinks. I loved Yuritizia! I'm sure that Eugenia will be great though. Just bring down all of your documentation that you had with Yuritizia and I'm sure everything will go smoothly.

 

As for the resort photographer not giving prices... THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!! Seriously, wow. I hope that someone is able to get an answer from them because it would really suck to pay $50 for a 5x7!

Oh Wendy I am sorry that the WC is leaving I have to tell ya I had a bad experience with Yuritzia she was really shady after our meeting because she booked another wedding in the same location at the same time and the other wedding was locals and 200 guests so we were told we could not get married on the beach she ended up wasting 2 days before the wedding she had us meet with the manager and she told the manager the problem was the Officiant could not do our wedding at 4 but she was trying to cover he own but. I wish she would have been honest so we could have spent the time with our guests because in the end they bumped our wedding till 2 anyway. Regardless who your WC is bring ALL your emails because in the end that is the only way were were able to get married on the beach was because in one of my emails I said we wanted the beach only and she had agreed so the manager honored that.
