No, I'm pretty sure there is no limit on the number of people. I don't think there is an extra charge for more people as the dinner counts as one of their alloted dinners at the a la cartes.

We had 46 people total. All we did was choose an appetizer (we went with buffet appetizers), soup and choice of 2 entrees from the menu of the restaurant we chose. We also decided to forgo the dessert choice at the restaurant and just have a bigger wedding cake at no extra charge. It was private for the first hour maybe but still felt fairly private since we took up half the restaurant. It is supposed to count as an ala carte for our guests...but it didn't. They were still able to book all the ala cartes that were included with the Apple package.

Okay, awesome! Thanks for the info. Do you think that there's a max allowed in a particular restaurant? I have no idea how many of our friends and family are going to want to show up, but I want to be able to just invite everyone we'd like to have there and not worry about lots of extra costs.

 

Also, I've read a lot about how big the resort is and how there's a shuttle that takes you around. My grandfather-in-law to be isn't able to walk far, but my fiance says that he can get on and off a shuttle with little or no problem. How easy is it to get the shuttle? Is it centrally located? And does it run often enough to not make it a pain in the butt? Also, is it only the a la cartes there are far enough away to need the shuttle? Or is everything really spread out?

Everything is really spread out, but only if you want to go from place to place. Our group pretty much stayed at the activity pool all day. It was where the 24 hour snack bar was, the lunch buffet, entertainment, pool, and bar. So we didn't have to move very far. So it's really up to him. However we had a guest at our wedding who was in a wheelchair (able to stand up and get into the trolley) and she was perfectly fine. The trams pick up every where and run around pretty regularly. He should be fine.

What did everyone do for a reherrsal dinner? I was thinking we'd probably just book a resterant, but wanted to see if anyone had any other idea's.

Did anyone get the video of the ceremony from the resort videographer? We were not gonning to do it but now that it is getting closer I would like to have a video.

 

For our rehersal we are going to do it in the buffet.

We booked Mike Cantrell through Claudia Rodriquez for the videography... the prices are steep, but I think they are worth it (you can view previews of the videos online... the cheapest video is 30-40 min and is just the ceremony, and it costs $700. I'm pretty sure everyone heard our ceremony (they all laughed when DH emphasized the "poorer" - so I'm guessing they heard it, haha). And no one had any complaints later.

We didn't have a rehearsal dinner - but I know a few other brides did.

Okay, the first video that popped up was so beautiful that I just cried a little. And then I clicked on the wedding of Leanne and Dann (My name is LeAnne) and they highlighted the "I, Leanne, take you..." part and I just started bawling!

Does anyone have a full price list for their pictures/videos? I didn't see one on the website.

Great! Thank you so much. John's grandparents have been wonderful to me, and I've never really had any grandparents of my own (my only living grandparent died when I was six). So, choosing a resort that is easy for his grandfather to get around in is a top priority to me and to John.
