I have 1 for the guests to sit. 1 for the mom's & fiance to walk down to (and pour sand for the sand ceremony). 1 for the bridesmaids/groomsment. 1 for the BRIDE. 1 for the sand ceremony. 1 for the recessional.

So, 6 songs I have for the ceremony.

Never mind, googled it, neat idea. Are you using different colours of sand? Or just sand from the beach?

As for my music, we have no wedding party, it's just the two of us so I think I'll only need 3 or 4, it's just a matter of deciding on songs, any one have any suggestions?

Hi Ladies!

How wonderful to find a forum with so much information! I'm totally new to this, but I am looking at getting married at the Gran Bahia Principe Tulum in January of 2009. I'm trying to figure out the price of the wedding packages and not having the greatest luck with the WC getting back to me. I was hoping for some help!

I've attached the one and only wedding package I've received back from the WC as an option. (is this bad forum etiquette? I understand you have to use points to open attachments - I can post all the info in a message if that's better?).

What I'm trying to figure out is how much extra it would be to have a private reception by the pool. I know that prices have been posted about the charge per person, but is that in addition to the price that I'm paying for this wedding package ($1980 which includes dinner for 15 ppl and after that each guest uses an all-inclusive voucher)? If that is in addition, is it just for everyone over the 15 people that are included in this wedding package, or should I factor it in for every single person?

Is there a different wedding package that I haven't seen - that doesn't include the dinner for 15 ppl, and then I just start adding up the charges per person?

Yikes - sorry this is so long! I would really appreciate any advice - and if anyone has pictures of the poolside reception I would LOVE to see them! Thank you!

Sunnybride......you have to pay for the package in addition to the per person price for the private pool reception...which I think right now is 46pp...you also have to pay for drinks...either 8$pp/per hour for pina colodas/beer/margaritas/sparkling wine or 17 pp/per hour for beer/rye/vodka/wine/pina colodas etc .....you dont have to pay for the drinks/meal if you have the reception in the restaurants...I have been told that the price is for the extra staff/set up by the pool....it can get REALLY expensive...but would be so beautiful to eat outside! Hope this helps....

We had five songs... one for each of the following:
Guests Sitting
Groom & Groomsmen
Bridesmaids, Flower Girl & Ring Bearer
Bride
Bride & Groom
