Gran Bahia Principe Akumal/Tulum/Coba - POST HERE!

I will definitely look into all those places. Thanks so much! We wanted to find a different backdrop than the beach because we know our wedding day pics will be a lot of that. Much appreciated!

Hey guys,

I just wanted to give people the heads up that I just got a email from Jazmin and she said that she has been having technical difficulties and she didn't get my email I had sent on Apr 8. So if there are any brides who sent stuff in the last 3 weeks or so and haven't had a reply, maybe just send it again :)

Only 17 more days until we leave!!!!! I cannot wait to be in the sun and the sand, and of course, wear my white dress ;)

I will warn you about beach pictures on your wedding day... it's extremely crowded.  That's why I love to do a day after session on a MUCH more beautiful and secluded beach.  It's just crazy on the wedding day.

So a few engagement pictures on the beach might not be that bad.  I tend to do wedding day pictures on the beach (very few), then around the resort, then around the hacienda.  That way you get a good variety and you don't have the fat man in the speedo behind you in all your pictures.  Why fat men in speedos think it's funny to photo bomb somebody's wedding pictures is beyond me... but they do!

LOL I would be so upset if there's a random fat man in speedo in my wedding photos. It would just bug me for a really long time... especially if the photo would be perfect EXCEPT for him.

Trisha, any other suggestions on locations on the resort to take wedding day photos with either the wedding party or just the bride/groom? I know the Hacienda and the hammocks in Coba (I believe). Any where else you could think of? I want to make a list of places, so I can decide whether or not I should and can rent a buggy to go around the resort.

It'll really depends on your photographer and their style.  Plus the time of day and time of year.  We tend to walk everywhere but we stick to one property mostly.  In November it shouldn't be too hot either, so you shouldn't have a problem. There are SO many amazing places to take photos, and many of them hidden in service halls.  Your photographer will have a wonderful time scouting out the area and getting prepared for your big day :)

Hey everyone, just a quick question... Is anyone else having an impossible time getting in contact with Eugenia? She emailed me asking some questions that I couldn't answer until she cleared up some things for me. Which I responded with and I have now been waiting for a month... She will not answer me. Ugh!

Ya, I sent her an email a couple months ago to get the planning ball rolling but never heard from her. I then emailed her again on Friday, so we'll see if I get a response :/
