Also, Ann & Paul both travel a ton, so they may have FF Miles, or hotel credits at their disposal- Ann & I haven't really talked about that yet. At the very minimum, we will send them a care package, probably some restaurant gift certificates, etc to help while they're there.

If you have any other ideas feel free to post them :)
I love the idea of doing something practical like this. I imagine you know what people would want while in the hospital.

I would definitely look into the Ronald McDonald house. When my brother was born and he couldn't breathe. He was med flighted to another city. They put my mom up and gave all her meals as long as he was there. So that might be an option. I would love to give a donation however we just moved cross country and neither of us have jobs yet as DH is waiting for his license to practice to come. I would love to be able to send a card if there is a way to do that. Thanks for putting this together. It's great to see such support on here!

I looked it up and there is one near the hospital, I will get the info to Ann and Paul, thanks ladies.

Also we are checking in with her tomorrow about the cards, since we don't know how long she will actually be in the hospital, but we will let you all know.

Check in with the social work department at the hospital also. They should be able to help with additional needs(toiletries, food vouchers, insurance assistance, recommendations, referrals, etc) and also provide counseling and education. Paul and Ann will need all the support they can get. My friend B was a preemie, both she and her twin could fit in the palm of their mom's hand. They are both thriving adults with no continuing issues.
