Fire Dancers?

Ok, so I didn't know where to post this...so feel free to move it if it's in the wrong section.

 

I keep reading that people had fire dancers at their weddings, and I was wondering about it. Is it specific to a local region? We're getting married in Cancun, would this be an option?

 

If you've had them...

How did you go about booking them? Was it through the resort or on your own? Also, how much was it (or aroundabout if you don't want to give specifics)

Good question! I want to have fire dancers too but can't find any. My WC says she used to have a # for a fire chick but has since lost it.

If anyone has any info there are now 2 of us who would really appreciate it!

We had them in Vallarta and they were part of our wedding site, Las Caletas. It was an optional add-on to our package. I think it was something like $300 for a 20 minute show? I've heard of the ones in Cabo being more than that so I think it was a good price.

 

If you can find them & work it out totally do it! It was a surprise to our guests and we were all in awe...they're pretty cool!

ok "can't wait"!!! good news! ask sandra, she can hire. about 250 for 15-20 mins is what she quaoted me.

 

as for non dreams tulum.... don't know, but maybe its all the same people. i will def post you when i get more details

If you ask your resrort or wedding coordinator I am sure they could look into it for you. I thinks items such as fire dancers, fireworks, bands are fairly popular for DWs in Mexico...

We had fire dancers in Cabo (booked through our coordinator). They were $675 for their 13 minute show and worth every penny!

mine were through my resort. I know that Aventura Spa Palace has fire dancers do a performance there for the whole resort, i'm sure moon has them too. you should talk to the wc to see if you could book them for your wedding. my resort in punta cana charges $500 for two fire dancers.

Angela- $675!? For 13 mins? WOW. I really did luck out at LC. We had them for $200 (rates are now $300 I believe) for 20 mins. We LOVED them. THey totally rocked and added a little something special to the reception.
