My husband and I spent a week at Seaside last May. It takes about an hour from the airport to get to the resort. It is definitely easy to walk the whole grounds, which are very beautiful and the atmosphere is very laid-back. Next door is a nude resort, but there's a large wall between. There are sandbags, but the beach is pretty. There is really only one place available for the ceremony. If you want an upgraded room to the Casitas you'll need to go to EDR. I guess it boils down to how many choices you want and how much you want to interact with your guests. I don't think you'd go wrong with either one.

Question about the nude resort: if you stick to the hotel property are you really going to be aware of the nude people next door? I thought I read somewhere online that you don't see adjacent resorts from the EDSS property...

The adjacent hotel to the north is a Karisma-owned property, but you will not see it because of the wall. I did see some people peeking around the wall at the beach, though. :) The people at the adjoining hotel can come to EDSS to eat, but they must be clothed. The beach is much nicer as you go south, so don't know why you'd want to go north anyways. Now there were several (as in 4 or 5) topless women at EDSS, as I'm sure there are at EDR or any other resort.
