Silly LC sunset question

This may sound silly, but are you able to see the sunset from Las Caletas? In all the pictures I have been looking at I never see a sunset photo, just the sky at dusk.

 

I have never been to PV so forgive me if I sound crazy!

Unfortunately not, LC is on the south part of Banderas Bay and the sunset is hidden by the bottom part of the bay....you may be able to see a sunset in the summer, I'm not sure, but definitely not in the winter. The sunset is breathtaking from PV though!

Around sunset time, you are most likely eating anyways. At that point, you don't even notice the sky because LC begins to glow with all the candlelight!

I should note that my pro pics didn't pick up the sunset as well- I'm not a photographer so I don't know if it was a different setting or something. However, our cheesy camera did have a few sunset pics.

 

 

 

We had our WD at PV and the sunsets were GORGEOUS!!

 

 

 

Unfortunately, we didn't really have sunset pics like that at the wedding.

Good pic up on the Sunset...I was scheduleing around the sunset but now I understand there is no need....

Since our ceremony started a little bit late (some of my family members nearly missed the catamaran over to LC) the sun was setting at the end of our ceremony, so we have some really nice pics during the kiss! I will try to post one for you.
