Cancun Shuttle Transportation

I got an email from the concierge desk at the Excellence Riviera Cancun shortly after I booked my wedding/honeymoon there and they wanted to know if I'd be interested in a round-trip shuttle to and from the airport for $115. Is that the usual going rate?

I think it's way too much!

 

We booked our rooms at Dreams and transportation through Tammy.

Roundtrip transportation was way cheaper than what they are quoting you.

 

If you don't have a TA already I would highly recommend Tammy Wright.

It's just for my fiance and I. Who's Tammy Wright? What are some of my options if I haven't booked transportation to and from the airport yet?

Tammy runs and owns this site and has a Travel Agency.

 

It sounds very expensive if it is just him from the Cancun airport to the hotel.

 

Are you using a travel agent?

He could take a shuttle from outside the airport (just outside the main doors), but I wouldn't pay more than $20 each way.

Oh, I didn't know you guys were referring to that Tammy, but then again I didn't know she had her own Travel Agency.
So you're saying I could just catch a shuttle at the airport once I arrive and it'll take me to Puerto Morelos for around $20 each way?

lol I don't know how to find it but when you put your info in like you are going to get your hotel and airfare then get to the final page before you book it adds it to your trip. Just do a fake one and see if that will lead you where to get it. Does that make any sense??

Yeah I don't think it'll let you just book a shuttle by itself.
