Document Translation - Witnesses

I am from Canada and am getting married in the DR. We were told we need to provide copies of our witness' passports to the hotel - does anyone know if they must be translated into Spanish?

 

Also, if anyone can recommend any translating services or can tell me about the process that you be great!

I used WeDO and everything was great. But we just got married on the 25th and I was wondering how long before I receive the actual marriage license
