wedding day mishaps (feel free to add your own!)

I was at one where when the MC was introducing the couple during their reception entrance he said the grooms brothers name in place of the grooms name.

I was at a wedding where a GM fainted and fell off the "stage" at the church. It ended up be pretty funny, once we realized he was OK.

Yes Carly! The problem was that we had to get up at like 6am to go to LC. So smart people would probably set their stuff out the night before and double check that it's all there. Instead, they got up early, put on their bathing suits....actually check that- ONE got up early and the other had to be drug out of bed 5 mins before we got in our taxi. Anyways, both forgot to pack panties. I think my mom even did too! LOL

They debated wearing their swim suit bottoms but both had ties on the sides of their bottoms so it made their dress not fit right. They decided to go sans panties. That's why the boat ride back from LC to PV was a very interesting ride. They were trashed and attempted to keep their dresses from flying up. Unfortunately, Steve saw a little too much of my sister's ass.

My wedding was only a week away so this is all fresh in my mind, its not as bad as some of the other stories:

 

1. Our best man wore a shirt that was similar to the rest of the GM shirts but a few shades darker. Another GM wore the same shirt becuase the BM bought it for him. I did not notice until I turned to face my husband and the difference in the color caught my eye. I just decided to let it go, they were almost the same, but how do you do that? We sent him the link to Macy's site, complete with a description and a SKU. Oh well, at least it was blue.

 

 

2. When I returned from taking pictures after the ceremony, my guests informed that my WC crashed her golf cart into the buffet table. Thank god there was no food in it, but I guess it made a loud bang when the chaffing dishes hit the pavement.

 

 

3. During her toast, my mom said "today we lost a member of the family." I know she meant it in a nice way, like they gave me away to Bob's family, but it just sounded like I died.

Ok I'm sorry but the WC crashing into the buffet with a golf cart- classic! Did you guys give her a sobriety test? How the hell do you do that!

lol, i would FREEEEAK OUUUUT if that was my wedding. that's exactly what i'm telling whoever performs our ceremony. my FI is not religious at all and definitely is NOT a believer and i'm not such a believer myself. if there is any mention people will see me as they've never seen me before. although our parents would LOVE for god to be in ceremony.
