STD & Invitations - Where to start??? Im confused

I did basic STD's that just stated we were getting married in a tropical location the end of Nov/beginning of Dec. These were sent out the end of Oct, so that anyone wanting to come that would need to save $, had time to do so. I did include a RSVP for the STD so that we would have an idea of how many people would possibly be coming. I made the wedding invites myself as well, so I started on them without having the final details finalized. Once we booked with the TA, I finished off the invites and sent them out. That was the end of March. Since I made the invites myself, I only sent invites to those who said they were coming or they might be coming. The only people that are getting invites even though they said they weren't coming are my Grandparents, and my Aunt's & Uncle's.

 

In the end, just do what you think will work for you and the people that you are inviting.
