I took this evolution class a couple years ago. The teacher took this mark twain quote "Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please" and did an evolutionary graph of how it was distorted throughout the internet. It was pretty funny. So maybe the quotes you used were so distorted it wasn't even plagerism anymore
