We actually only had Buster for a month, I think that's why I'm so shocked he is adopted so soon, most seniors are in foster care for at least 6 months, but this family couldn't have been happier to have him. He was a good dog, but we had him the same time as Elsie and I took care of Elsie while Cain took care of Buster, so I think he misses him more then I do.

We just got an update on Busters new forever family, I guess him being overweight put a kick in the moms butt and she's determined to not only get him to loose weight but also hopefully to shed some pounds for herself. They also sent in a picture of Buster, relaxing on their sun porch..

Tammy - I admire you fostering pets. Both of my cats were in foster homes before I adopted them, and they were so well cared for. It's nice for pets to have a "home" while they wait to be adopted!
