help me pick my earrings

hi, girls!

 

so, i'm trying to pick out my jewelry for my wedding. i had originally planned on going with pearl drop earrings. FI, however, bought me these gorgeous aquamarine and diamond drop earrings as a wedding gift. i'm at work, and can't get photobucket to upload the pic of them! Damn! I'll put it as an attachment, but will upload to photobucket when i get home tonight.

 

anyways, pearls are more traditional, but i'm wondering if the other would be more unique.

 

i'm posting my dress (which i already have on photobucket) - so you can see what you think. i'm just wondering if the diamond/aquamarine would be too much since hte dress has beading, etc. what do you think??
