Personally I think May is a great choice - we're planning for the end of May next year. I don't think it will be too chilly at night. I know someone on here is going down to PV this May (can't remember who - sorry!). Stay tuned for their site review...

I've been in PV several times on different months: February, May, July, September and December.

February was really nice and breezy, May was really hot during the day but warm enough to enjoy outside without sweater, July is hot and humid, September the worst on humidity but very nice on the temperatures during the day and December is kind of chilly at nights....

Hope this help...

I hope this helps!
Las Caletas should pay you for being so darn helpful!!!

We're getting married in November. Sunset time was a concern of ours as well.... but an afterthought! Didn't even consider it when we booked our date. However, all will work out and the wedding should be done before the sun sets. Plus LC is beautiful at night. So you really can't go wrong.

Ladies, where did you all stay? Now that I know where the ceremony will take place, the issue is finding where to put everyone!

I know there are a number of vacation rentals and hotels, but what areas did you like best? Any do's or don'ts you can guide me on?

You all have been a great help, I am loving this!

We stayed at Barcelo De La Jolla Mismaloya. It was in the southern most region and really pretty. It's actually right across from where the Predator was filmed and great access to the zip lines and waterfall. Los Arcos is also VERY close so it's easy to hire a boat to take you snorkeling. I think we paid like $15 per person for an hour.

The resort is about 15-20 mins from downtown. The bus picks up across the street so it was fairly cheap for us to travel back and forth. We loved it and had a great time. If you want more info, let me know!
