Ok so I'm trying to learn photoshop CS3, and I'm playing around with a picture I took of our new foster pup. Tell me what you think. HONESTLY, please I need to know what I need to work on to make the picture better. THanks..

On that one, I would darken the over-exposure in the lower right corner (by either trying to lower the brightness, or cloning the upper left corner coloring).

 

I'd probably clone out the shadow because it shows so much detail in the woolly looking carpet/blanket that it becomes distracting to the image of the pup...

I think it looks pretty good and I actually like the shadow, maybe just not on the carpet. But overall I think it looks really good.

I know nothing about this kinda stuff, but I have to say I like the shadow and think it's a pretty good picture!

Well I was going to suggest turning it right side up, but then I realized the dog is laying on the carpet. LMAO

I think you're pretty much there, just adjust the contrast a bit.
