Sandals Jamaica Weddings

Just a few questions for all who were married at Sandals in Jamaica.

 

1. Does anyone have pics of their albums? The Al La Carte pics are must cheaper. If you do the al la carte do you get the CD w/ the pics like you do with the packages?

 

2. Has anyone done a sunset time? If so, what is the cost? I only saw prices for the Preston Baily one. It will just be the two of us so I don't really need the extras.

 

3. How much are the typical flower upgrades? Do they have flowers that can be purchased for your hair/cake?

I have some of this info! I am getting married May 18th at SGOR. From what I understand you can purchase these picture and then buy the negitives for $200 while in Jamaica. The wedding planner will not admit to this. They of course want you to buy larger packages. This is what other brides have told me though. One thing is you might do a search for photos there are some posted by iriebride of examples of pictures. I am not 100% impressed with them. Infact I have not purchased them yet. We are debating on our friends taking them. We are like you and only having us and then one other couple decided to go with us. I hated to spend a bunch of money on them. I did check with Darma though and she said I could still purchase the pictures. I swore to myself I will have my mind made up by Wensday..lol Anyways I hope this helps you. I have pictrures of the flower upgrades but I do not have the price list. I accidently deleted it. We actually decided to make our own bouquets out of silk flowers. the wedding planner can send you a copy of the price list and pictures if you ask her.

As far as the sunset goes, the sun sets at 6:30 when we are there so since we have a 4:30 wedding I am guess we can still get some great sunset pictures. At least I hope so.

When I was just there and had my mock vow renewal they had a photog there. We went in to see the pics and when I chose the ones that I wanted she asked if I wanted them on CD or printed. I chose CD and she gave me a release form so I could get them printed back home.

 

There is the brand new Preston Bailey that you can only get at Sunset and then the Twilight package. The Twilight package for Jamaica is $1500/ all other islands $1600.

 

This includes a ton of extras for the two of you- private transfers, Bouquet of fresh roses, single entertainer for an hour, hor d'oeuvres for bride & groom plus two guests, champagne & keepsake toasting flutes, 12 pics in album, videography and standard DVD of ceremony & reception, pedicure for bride & half hour, massage for groom, breakfast in bed the next day, turn down service with Rose petals and scented bacth for two the night of the wedding, his & her Sandals, Just married t-shirts plus all the regular items in the free ceremony.

 

Yes you can purchase flowers for your hair & cake!
