Held Captive for 24 yrs. by father

This is the strangest thing ever. This man kept his daughter in the basement for 24 years and had 6 children by her and his wife never knew. WTF?!?!?

I am just so confused that the captive woman's mother believed the husband. How the hell do you lock people in your basement and have no clue that four people live down there She must have had some sort of an idea that he rdaughter and grandchildren were down there.

Disgusting. Was the wife heavily medicated or something? How do you not go to your own basement for all those years, let alone not notice your husband disappearing to have sex and feed the offspring on a regular basis? Just awful, I only wish he lives long enough to suffer. What a sicko!

Those poor children. You know the daughter and her children are a complete mental mess at this point. I hope they can rehabilitate them. How can you ever lead a normal life after that? They've never known normal.
