Cabo Cake Stand

To all of you getting married in Cabo, just wanted to give you a heads up on a cake stand now available to rent.

 

I purchased my wedding cake directly from Jennifer Hatton. And as you all know, she makes BEAUTIFUL cakes. When I asked about the different types of cake stands she has, she told me I could purchase a round mirror for an additional cost. I wasn't crazy about that idea. My cake was 3 round tiers with white icing, some white ribbon and a couple of flowers - very simple and elegant. In my head, I pictured the cake on a white, ceramic, round pedestal stand. She didn't have one and didn't know of anyone who had one. I even asked my WC Vari, the Hilton and even Juan Carlos and his wife. But apparently this type of cake stand doesn't exist in Cabo anywhere. So I ended up buying my own and bringing it with me. I got it from Pottery Barn Kids and it was PERFECT - exactly what I was looking for.

 

The reason for this thread is to let you know I sold the cake stand to Jennifer Hatton before I left Cabo. I really didn't want to lug it home and I figured she could have a great addition to her business with this. So if you plan to get your cake from her (or if you're getting married at the Hilton and are getting your cake from them - they outsource Jennifer) this stand will be available for you to rent. Here's a pic. When I get a pic of my cake on the stand, I'll be sure to post as well. (In fact, Jennifer is really good friends with Juan Carlos and she already asked him for a pic of my cake on the stand so she can add it to her website.)

Maybe the cake stand will turn into another "traveling" item, like the starfish pins. LOL!!!
