Newbie...photographer...rehearsal dinner

Hello everyone,

 

I am so excited to be on the forum. I am planning on getting married in June 28, 2008 in Puerto Vallarta. I want to have a beach wedding. I am planning on only inviting 30 people. I have gotten some good advice on locations so far but I would love to hear from you guys. I hope you guys can help me with my planning.

 

I am planning on going to visit PV next month. I need your advice...does anyone have a photographer that they recommend Pictures are really important to me.

 

Also...does anyone have a place for a rehearsal dinner that they recommend for 20 people...not more than $40 to $50 per person.

 

Lastly, I am looking for a DJ and videographer.

 

I hope you guys can help.

welcome...there are may PV brides on here that are sooo helpful.

 

this is my opinion on PV photogs...i have not found any that really impressed me...not to say they aren't out there, just that i have not run across them.

 

if photos are really important to you, you may have to bring in your own photog...here are some of our favorites...a few are members...

Welcome, Amy! Tammy (host) definitely pointed you in the right direction so far. Are you still considering Las Caletas? There are a bunch of brides on here that are getting married there this month (Ali just got back!), so they can help with those questions as well.

 

I am using Leigh Miller, she's from S. Cal so she's flying in to PV for my wedding. If you do choose Las Caletas they have a handful of local photographers to choose from, FYI (they also have many music options). Here is a thread to read as well.
