Need Ideas (Seating Arrangements)...

So my reception is on the beach! I have 30 guests officially going and I definitely want to have seating arrangements made for the tables. The problem lies with my brain being completely fried at the moment...

 

At first I visited a craft store and saw these super cute plastic toys for kids (jelly fish, hermit crab, lobster) and thought that it would be hysterical/cheesy to have the tables labeled after the uninvited ocean guests. The place cards would read: “Joe Jones (With a picture of a lobster)â€. But that was just me being extremely silly…even though the idea still makes me lmao!

 

I thought of maybe doing the same thing except substituting the sea toys with a large colored starfish to distinguish which table is which (blue, orange, white, green)?

 

I was then thinking of combining a place card system with a "shoe-check" system (for the shoes and sandals that may be buried in sand during all the drunken dancing lol). I thought of maybe having wide pretty ties laid out with Joe Jones’ name and the table name, except it would just be for information purposes only as the tie would be wrapped around the shoes. My BP would take care of finding the persons name and checking the shoes, but what happens to those that won’t take their shoes off for anything?

 

Any other simple beach ideas for seating arrangements I can DIY in 6 days? Help!
