This is my fear. I never hear that their are many survivors of this type of cancer. They seem to fight and fight and relapse for years. Especially the children. Fabian was healthy for almost 2 years but relapsed late last year.

I hate to think negatively but its just so hard to be positive when you read stories like Laiken's.

Yari, I'm so, so sorry. What a beautiful girl she was. Her mother's note was heartbreaking, I can't even begin to imagine what she had to go through. My thoughts are with with Laiken's family and everyone that had the privelege of knowing this girl.

Thanks everyone, we had a tough night.

 

I read Angela a couple of children death books. She started to bawl and tell me she is scared her doggie is going to die. Needless to say, it was quite a draining evening.
