HELP! I'm changing locations to Riu Santa Fe

Recommended Posts

Ok Ladies,

I need as much help as I can get. We have changed from Dreams Cancun to Rui Santa Fe Cabo. So any help you can give would be greatly appriciated. The only time that is available is at 2:00. I'm alittle concered about it being to hot and what to do in between wedding and reception. Any ideas? But October weekends are pretty much booked. This is my fault for being wishey washey on the location. I always wanted to get married in Cabo but thought that Cancun would be more afordable for our guest. But to find out its the same.

Also, any information on extras I need or pics would be great.

Thanks

Kelly

Hi! I just got married at the Riu Palace and my ceremony was at 2:00. The reception was not until 6:30. I was totally paniced and freaked out as well, but it was perfect!! The ceremony ended at 2:30 - group and family pixtures until 3:00. Some family went back to pool, some went to Bar. My fiancee and I had intimate pictures until 4:00 where we then took a breather and had drinks with our guests that were visiting at the bar. I then changed dresses (I had a party dress for reception) and headed back out with the photographer at 5:30 - reception at 6:30. Some people took naps in between. It was so relaxing for me to have the pixtures done with no pressure or stress. Since Riu Santa Fe is All Inclusive, people will be totally satisfied doing their own thing. Check out my wedding pix wedding let me know if you have any other questions about the dead time.

thanks so much for the suggestions. But the WC emailed that she maybe able to move it to 5:00 she is checking with the minister. It makes me feel better with your advice if it doesn't get moved.

Any suggestions are greatly appriciated!

Wow, what a change!! Well it's nice to have you in Cabo. It will be very sunny, may not be as hot as july but still very sunny. You could give your bridesmaids and or guests paper-umbrellas like these ones:

Good Luck,
