Haha, I wish I could say we were waiting. We've been living together for about 4 1/2 years, dating for 5 (wow). We are holding out a few weeks before the wedding.....I'm getting my first Brazilian bikini wax and have to wait 2-3 weeks to shave or do anything to control what goes on hair-wise down there. There's NO WAY I could have sex with that (sorry TMI). FI wouldn't care, but still, it would drive me nuts.

Good luck with the waxing. I used to wax not brazilian. The last time I had a bikini wax the lady hurt me so bad I just decided to revert back to shaving. I have to say I did shave in between and you shouldnt because the hair will be to short and blunt to peel off.

See, this will be my first one! I may get one in a few weeks just to try it out. So I'm TERRIFIED! But more terrified about not shaving. Yikes.

I'm so impressed with all the ladies on here! We live together too... so not happening ... although, his parents will be living with us for the month or two before the wedding so I guess we'll be abstaining for a bit before

 

Waxing - I haven't gone in a while... I've been thinking about a Brazilian, but I have to admit - scares me!

The very first time I did anything to "finish my basement" I decided to go Brazilian. Even though I don't have sex, I hate hair down there. It was a bit painful due to the fact that I had a decent amount (sorry if TMI), but the lady said I wouldn't need to trim before hand. Well, I should have anyway. Because of the length, it pulled for quite a bit before it actually ripped off (OUCHIES!). And I had some bleeding (only pin pricks). It helped to laugh it off while she was doing it. But every time after, it was fine. The only thing is.... I don't get them anymore because my hair seriously starting stubbling back after only THREE days! I couldn't believe after all the money I spent. So I tried a few more and then it still grew back. It doesn't even grow that fast when I shave and in general, my body hair is fine, and i don't have much down there. So now i just shave. I don't even get facial hair (no upper lip waxes for me... yay!). I have no idea why it does that, but I do want a wax before the we marry. Thing is, I leave 4 days before and I would start being stubbly by our wedding night. I have to see if Dreams offers services. Maybe we should all go to SOMA or Hair today gone tomorrow for lazer treatment.
