veil or no veil-that is the question

I like the suggestion to wear a veil at the ceremony and switch it out with flowers for the reception. That way you have pictures both ways.

I felt like my dress could stand on its own, I didn't like the look of the veil. So, no veil for me, just a flower!

Initially, I didn't want a veil at all. I did end up trying some on for my Mom because she felt that I SHOULD wear one for the ceremony. Once I tried them on, I decided that I really didn't feel the vibe of the veil and opted out of it and decided to wear a flower instead.

 

Well, fast forward to joining BDW and seeing all the gorgeous pics of brides with their veil blowing in the wind....well I just HAD to have one! I went to the back of the bridal salon were I bought my dress and found a cathedral length veil for $30.00! I plan on using the veil for my BD session and for some of my TTD pics but I won't wear it for the actual wedding ceremony! I can't wait to see my Mom's face when she see's some wedding pics with my veil....she'll love it even though I didn't wear it to the alter!

I haven't decided 100% leaning toward flowers and small veil tucked in back..my dress is kind of fancy so I am thinking everything else shoudl be plan...more to think about ha ha!
