Have you tried to PM the owner of a specific starfish (one that your dates fit into) and see if you can be added?  You might get a better response that way.

For the ladies already on the list please be sure to make a note of who is listed after you, please stay in touch with that bride (I would advise getting a home e-mail, mailing address and a phone number if possible) so that you can pass the starfish along in time for the next bride to get it. Please remember that this tradition relies on the honor system. We trust and have faith that every bride that has chosen to participate will do so responsibly and effectively. If you are unable to fulfill the rules of passing along the starfish and the journal please do not participate and allow someone else the opportunity to.

If anyone else would like to be added to my blue starfish passing list please pm me with the details of your wedding date, travel dates and your destination. I'll be more than happy to add you. Please note that Clgriffi7 will be the last person on the list. Thanks ladies!

As I pm'd you Futur_bride no longer wishes to be on the list. Can you add me in her place please and update the list. i will contact the bride after me for her details. Thanks a lot! I just realized there is a journal that comes with it. Do we just write a little bit about the starfishes journey and then send it on?

I'm home lovely ladies and had such a killer wedding!! We're all still in vacation mode and floating around our normal lives still wanting more endless buffets, spa treatments, dolphin swims and open bar cocktails with your friends. *sigh*

It was such a beautiful wedding and the clear starfish looked sooo cute and beautiful in the bouquet.  I had a small wedding with 17 people total, and there were a lot of laughs and smiles, and we all sweated our buns off on the rooftop of our resort for those 20 mins of ceremony, haha.  Interestingly enough though, I didn't find wearing a massive wedding dress any hotter than my bikini or sun dresses, and I'm so happy I went with a more traditional dress as it was really fun to wear.  I also dunked it in the jungle sink holes for a TTD but it looks exactly the same now that's it's dry, haha.

 

I sent the starfish off to Shoesiesluvr yesterday, so he should be in the hands of the next b2b by Sept 7th!  I'll miss you little buddy!!

I finally decided to buy my own starfish... my name can me taken off the list. I'm sad that I won't be participating in this tradition, but I was scared that the little guy wouldn't be in great shape as it seems to be falling appart.   Hopefully this tradition will keep on going for a long time!!
