JoanneIreland, Did you mean me?  I responded to a quote from Katelynn, but I was the one talking about getting a starfish to add to the passing.  If so, then when I order one, I'll let you know!

Avelyad, Kellygrrrl has a clear starfish and Joanne has a blue starfish.  Just ask one of them to be placed on their list.  Let them know when your wedding is as there needs to be time between weddings so that the starfish has time to be shipped from bride to bride.

Hi Ladies

 

I am back but have been crazy busy since we got back on saturday evening. It was amazing and Joanne's blue starfish looked great in the bouquet and is now home safe and sound and unharmed! I don't have my professional pics yet so I will post one that I took with my camera the day after the wedding but the bouquet is a bit of a mess and a little wilted lol

I had forgotten to give my other starfish bouquet jewelery to the florist before she completed the bouquet so they are sticking out cause we couldn't get them in all the way but oh well.

I am so happy I got to participate in this great tradition and I will send him on to the next bride no later than next monday which is a full month before she needs it. Thanks again Joanne!!

Ahh so I'm SUCH a procrastinator and am still looking for my something borrowed...for my May 15th 2011 wedding!

 

If by chance one of these starfish are available, or if anyone else out there has a cute charm etc they'd be willing to mail me, I'll gladly pass along the tradition afterwards!

sorry, sarah - it won't work for the clear starfish. nurse m is taking it with her to cancun may 18 - 26, and it is currently in transit from canada to new orleans.

The starfish is in transit after a safe trip to Cancun. Sadly, I was so rushed throughout the week that I forgot where he was packed so he didn't make it into my revised bouquet. Of course when I searched for him, I even thought that he may have missed the plane. Of course, I found him when we got home and were unpacking. Sorry I screwed up, I'm just glad he wasn't completely lost.
