customs will do what they want to, unfortunately. we heard freeze-dried rose petals were ok, but they confiscated $200+ of them. strangely, they didn't care about the starfish we were bringing for someone else, but perhaps they'd felt as though they'd harassed us enough by that point.

 

whatever you decide to do, just make sure it won't crush your ceremony vision if it doesn't work out. I was disappointed about the petals, but clouds were blowing in during our ceremony, and it would have been far too windy for them. it just wasn't meant to be. ; )

Ya- looks like it will be a gamble...sigh..decisions decisions..

If i KNEW i could just go to Playa Del Carmen and buy them there I would but no guarantee of that
