Friedman's Jewler Is Closing!!!

FYI: So evidently, Friedman's has filed for bankruptcy and it closing all its stores starting in June.

 

I just wanted to let everyone know, b/c they are having a huge sale, currentlly 30% to 70% off! I actually saw a nice Bulova watch I wanted to get my FI for a wedding gift, but was a little skeptical purchasing from a jewler that is closing, and concerned about warranty.

 

Has anyone made a purchase previously from a jelwer that is going out of business? I'm interested in knowing your thoughts

There was a Freidmans here a couple of years ago. It went out of business and had an awesome sale. I got a ring there. One of the stones fell out of the setting and I just took it to a Jeweler and he fixed it for free. You win some you lose some. It's a great deal you just might have to pay to get it fixed.....

My FI bought me a watch from an independent store that was closing.

 

He got it for dirt cheap, and I haven't had any problems with it. I'm sure if you bought something and you did have problems, you could bring it to your local watch repair store, or jewelry store and they'd look at it.

 

My luck with things is that they break AFTER the warrantee anyways!

 

So if you can get an awesome deal on something for your FI, I'd say go for it!
