Hair flowers: attached to a comb vs alligator clip?

I am wearing a natural touch gardenia hair flower from AA for my civil ceremony. Staci just asked me whether I wanted it attached to a comb or an alligator clip.

 

I have no freaking clue about what is better. I will likely wear a very simple veil, which has a comb attachment, if that matters.

 

Help! What is better? What stays put better? Thoughts ladies? TIA!

Mine was an alligator clip. It didn't budge. A comb I would think would be more difficult. Especially if you can't decide on a location and switch it a few times. I would think it could possibly mess up your hair. I had to be really carefully when removing the veil comb.

 

Oh just FYI- I stole my BMs hairclip and wore it a ton of times while in PV. It was so easy just to clip in with different hairstyles. I wonder if a comb would be that versatile.

I say alligator. It will hold on pretty tight.

I agree with the other ladies about the aligator clip.

 

My hair is fine and soft and it needs a lot of product to keep any hairstyle, so combs just slide right out.

I also used alligator clips. I had a bunch of hair flowers that I used my entire honeymoon as well! The clips were easy to use and stayed put.
